Naruto Chapter 445

Naruto Chapter 445:  Top of the World

Recap:  

Nagato flashbacks run amuck in this chapter as Naruto listens to the tales of how Nagato and his Pain has led up to what he is today.   Nagato recalls his Parent's death by Konoha ninjas who have mistaken them as Shinobi, but we see how he met Konan and Yahiko.  A weak, greif stricken, and hungry Nagato is on the brink of starving until he meets Tiny his faithful companion (dog).  However......as all hope of food melts away Konan finds Nagato utterly depleted as she feeds him and brings him and Tiny to Yahiko where the trio steal for food.....As the flashback goes on the trio's brief moments of smiles are short lived as a Exploding Tagged Kunai is flung near them.  With Tiny killed the trio recover to see Salamander Hanzou battle another well known trio.....the Legendary Sannin: Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade......As Nagato weeps for Tiny's untimely death, Yahiko's anger erupts over their circumstances as he exclaims "I will become God of this World!"......Thus in his Pain Nagato adopts Yahiko's dream as his own....

My Take: 

 Well this won't take too long....... since the chapter was pretty self explanatory.......However I will say that Yahiko reminds me more of Naruto.  Nagato's retelling of his past is very interesting but can also foreshadow his death in the next coming chapters....

So his first Pain was that of his Parents Untimely Death.........and I'm already going to say that the second Pain wasn't Tiny....lol... (R.I.P. Tiny).... I'm thinking the second Pain is going to be Yahiko's Untimely Death.......Nagato's back story is promising and if Kishi is feeling like revealing more and more awesomeness I would love to see Nagato square off on Hanzou...........in the telling of his 2nd Pain........

I also think that Nagato's backstory will give Naruto something to work with as far as his answer is concerned..........However there is  a lot still brimming......as to how Tobi/Madara met Nagato..... etc...

So.....not so much going on in this chapter......but I can't wait to see 446.....I hope there is some Hanzou and/or Madara action in here........Also we might get to see how Nagato got so weak all these years.......meh....we'll see...

Now I want to get into a little of what' s happening outside of Naruto and Nagato's talk..... We see that Kabuto is or was being tracked......and Inoichi and Shikaku were tracking Nagato....but it seems that their purpose is now needed for something else (from a plot standpoint).....Now I could be totally off on this but it seems that Kishi is setting up the pieces for Sasuke approaching Konoha....and Danzuo's Ambush....so to speak...

I say that because......Kabuto's in the area and also because Root might start to make it's move soon.....With Naruto pre-occupied with Nagato's flashbacks..........it seems that the other shinobi standing around battered and bruised with the few exceptions of Yamato, Sai, and Anko....etc.... I sense that Kishi's got an even bigger plot a foot.......Granted how Kabuto plays into all this is somehow related to Sasuke......and how Sasuke plays into all this is somehow related to Danzuo.....and the elders.....and how Danzuo plays into to all this is Root...etc...  I think Naruto being so far away from the village provides Kishi a way for the other characters to come into play.....

I mean we're not going to see a Naruto/Sasuke meeting so soon.......I would think......so with Naruto away  I think it means that the Cloud Ninjas or Sasuke....and co.  could be close..... but what's even more on the horizon is Root......

So we'll see how it all plays out, but I think Naruto's presence away from the village is a key indicator that another aspect of the story is going to come into play...

meh...we'll see...
