Title: "Naruto Returns!"
Summary:
Naruto Finally RETURNS!.... As smoke clears the the baron wasteland that used to be Konoha Village, Naruto emerges with not 1 not 2 but with 5 frogs. (From left to right) Gama-Ken, Gamabunta, Chuunin Frog, Gamakichi on top of Gamabunta, Fukasaku on top of Gamakichi, and Naruto at the top. A triumphant return and tragedy can sum up the the first few panels as we get to see the aftermath of the Huge Shinra Tensei in which God Realm Pein released. Each panel is not wasted as we get to see the notable characters in the series reactions to the events that have transpired, and some not so notable. Hinata, Iruka, Kakashi, Chouza & Chouji, Kiba & Co., Shikamaru & his Father, Sakura & Random Hyuuga, and most notably Tsunade and an ANBU. We see that Tsunade has used her trademark Souzousaisei as extra chakra is needed to prevent as much injury as well as heal downed shinobi via Katsuyu. Pein is not without his own tricks and tactics as Hell Realm Pein's otherworld ally eats the battered Demon Realm Pein and Spits him back out (Presto) as the newly clothed and fully resurrected Demon Realm launches Animal Realm into action. However, we find that Konan has been using a paper bunshin all along as she worries about Nagato himself after the Shinra Tensei was used. It seems Nagato has done this before, but this time he notably recovers slower than previously.
As the chapter draws near Animal Realm reaches the battlefield summoning the rest of the Pein Rikudou pack to where God Realm stands. Instantly Tsunade confronts Pein Rikudou, however her jutsu to protect the village has left her weak and weary as a fully renewed Demon Realm goes on the offensive. *CRASH* An abrupt 1 handed Rasengan via Sage Mode Naruto intercepts the monster and crushes him to pieces. It seems that the eager student of the Legendary Jiraiya and son of the Legendary Yondaime has now truly inherited the will of his Master and Legacy as Fukasaku points out. As the chapter ends, Confident and Cool Naruto cries out to the self-proclaimed God....."I'm Gonna Finish This!"....We shall see........ : )....
My Take:
Well...Well....Well.... : ) The Coat of Flames was a nice touch huh......It's nice to see Naruto stand out in such an epic fashion....Kishimoto has so far in Shippuuden only shown glimpses of his development and power progression. He comes back and seems to have learned a little from his three years with Jiraiya an Oodama Rasengan here and weapons summons there......Then he learned the fine art of Kage Bunshin all over again via Kakashi's training method coupled with gaining an elemental affinity of Wind. Creating one of his most powerful jutsu to date. Now he's reached the pinnacle of Sage Mode.....and has taken it far beyond what Jiraiya had managed to accomplish....Jiraiya's no slouch but Naruto has grown exponentially simply because of his ethic and his development to maturity. I think early on Sasuke was really pushing him.....but now Naruto really knows what losing someone very important to you is like....i.e. Jiraiya..
Sasuke has always been the immediate prodigy that improves very quickly due to his talent and abilities.....and Kishi made sure to develop Sasuke so exponentially early on...However Naruto has had to bide his time and at each level of progression he's achieved and this has given many fans grief because they've seen Sasuke's level since Shippuuden be very high....and Naruto's progressively getting better....but Kishi rewarded those who had the patience to understand that Naruto was portrayed very differently in his progression....This chapter is that reward...
Sure it's easy to say Sasuke has been "haxed" with power ups and given every break you can imagine....but honestly .... Sasuke's rise is not as fulfilling as seeing Naruto in his moment of glory....I mean fans are just going nuts over his Flame Coat...I mean we were invested in Naruto's progression as we grind out week after week......just to get to a moment like this....an it feels worth it now..
I think Kishi made the right move by powering up Sasuke early on and leveling up Naruto gradually......simply because when Naruto starts to reach his full potential fans will be gnawing at the bit to see that potential realized and how awe inspiring it is.....and root for Naruto when the showdown between he and Sasuke comes about again...
I honestly think that Kakashi will live.....simply because his death trance was induced by overexerting his chakra capacity via MS.....and Tsunade's jutsu via Katsuyu could keep him borderline.....until some serious aid can be given....I think Kakashi has one more thing to pass on to Naruto XD..... (hint: Flash)
This fight will be awesome to see.......and I'm hoping we get to see the jutsu Naruto has been working on secretly at Myobokuzan.......personally I think it's Fuuton Rasengan at 100%.......and he's found a way to throw the jutsu, but it only works in Sage Mode...
random note: Yay....I moved to my new house so the internet has returned.....
Anyways......to pick up where I left off....... aside from Kishi's methods of power progressing Naruto and Sasuke something has to be said for the battle between Naruto and Pein Rikudou. I personally think that Naruto will defeat Pein Rikudou because Kishi wisely set up all of the pieces before the fight....such as the shinobi of Konoha figuring out each PR's Power and ability...
God Realm: Ability to Attract and Repel objects, people and ninjutsu with a 5 sec. delay, summoning sealing statue, shouten no jutsu, and Sealing Techniques
Animal Realm: Summons Specialist
Hungry Ghost Realm: Absorption Abilities
Human Realm: Mind Reader/Soul Ripper Abilities
Demon Realm: Organic/Inorganic Weapons Ability (eh....best description I could come up with?....)
So every one of their powers has been revealed so I'm sure Tsunade will waste no time in telling Naruto just what she knows and maybe we'll see Konohamaru and others who've survived back up Naruto but not interfere with the fight...as everyone views.....anyways...we'll see...in 431
